Today we will learn about one of the putty command related to Zip File.

First of all i will teach you what is Putty?

So, in short words putty is a machine which helps login to your server you can call me SSH Login using Putty.

Now lets go to the main topic of our article.

How to Login to your server and create a zip folder.

First Step

Open Your Putty and put server ip address and port to abe able to Login.

Second Step

Type username “Root” and Hit Enter

Third Step

Type your server password and hit enter.

Once you login to your server and your screen will look like this as shown in screenshot

Now you will need to find a patch where your folder is available for zipping.

So, as my server Its (See screenshot)

/var/www/mydomain.com

but using putty you need commands for doing anything in your server.
